This family home in Dalston, East London has been redecorated with a new bathroom and kitchen. The homeowner is a talented Artist who has a fantastic eye for colour and pattern. We spent time working on the room Concept boards to ensure the palette for each room was exactly to his requirements. It was great fun working from the Concepts and each item was carefully sourced from a range of suppliers. This newly renovated house is filled with character and is a joy to be in.
The living room has been painted in Hague blue by Farrow & Ball, the deep tone creates warmth and depth to the room and compliments the sash windows which allow the light to flood the room. The standing lamp is by Pooky with a Gaia lampshade from House of Hackney which is in a Victorian inspired shape. The sofa and footstool are from Heals and are upholstered in GPJ Barker Montpellier velvet – Tuscan red, this stunning fabric blends beautifully with the blue walls and has a luxurious texture which are a delight to use. The curtains are a velvety texture also from Warwick in lovely mocha.
